Does anyone know how Saguaro Wine compares to Noodler's Ottoman Rose? The colors look remarkably similar to me.

It's funny that it's called 'wine' - I think the Nightshade color looks much more like wine. Nice color.

I have both. Saguaro is definitely purpley, while Ottoman Rose is a darker red, with slight dusty rose highlights.

Thanks for the review, this is a cool colour. I've been looking for a red or purple so I might as well kill two birds with one stone wth Saguaro Wine!

 

I've seen the water test from the scans, and it looks pretty good. Just for clarification, how well does this ink hold up with water splashed on it? I'm not looking for waterproof qualities for a soak test, just for the ink to be legible should my paper get wet.

 

On a wider point, how well do Noodler's non-Eternal inks hold up with water? Specifically, I'm thinking of Noodler's Blue.

this isn't water resistant at all. I had it for awhie and traded it for semi=-bulletproof. Didn't even hold up to raindrops on an envelope. Still love the color, though

I have the wine and love it. I use it for grading. It does tend to feather.
