This is my current handwriting, although different from the hand that my school requires me to teach. The pen was a Sheaffer Sagaris M, and the rather garish ink is Diamine Jade Green. It was written in a Moleskine cahier as an aide-mémoire for a course I'm taking at the moment.

I was just reviewing this page on Handwriting Repair as I need to work on consistency. You may find pages 6-31 interesting--they take some writing and adjust it to be more consistent in all aspects (baseline, midline, descender line, ascender line, slant, spacing, spacing adjustment, and recognition points). I found the evolution of the original writing to what is written on page 31 to be amazing.

 

While the example was for cursive, I believe the concepts are helpful to all of us to make our writing neater and more visually pleasing. I am trying to apply their concepts to my printing/haphazard-cursive-italic handwriting, and I feel that I've made progress by working on one aspect of improvement at a time.

And I love your capital H's and M's. They look almost Cyrillic to me. Is that common in Polish hand writing?

 

I feel like the standards are ridiculously high when

 

You have great handwriting. I tried to improve my handwriting but for so nice and equal letters I have still a lot of work.

If I weren't so positive that handwriting improvement was a personal odyssey and not to be compared to others, I would have a more severe inferiority complex.

I've been using a Namiki Falcon SF with Iroshizuku ink for university notes it makes taking economics notes much more fun :S

Beautiful ink, which Iroshizuku is it?
