Try YouTube. I did a search for "how to write with a fountain pen"

This one was okay - about 4.5 min in:

Here are some beginner user videos.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Thanks Amber for the tip and sorry for the slow response. Next attempt will use the camera and forget about the scanner.

Here's my handwriting using my Parker Premier Titanium.

Nice handwriting and great pen.

Welcome. That's a very pretty pen.

Have you changed your avatar?

I'll miss your cartoon ghost.

Wow this looks great!

I may put inky back up. The fish just aren't doing it for me.

This is beautiful. My wife has a whole calligraphy set in the basement. This inspires me to try it out.

The fish was drawn by you? I like it too, but the inky is more funny.
;)

I have a long way to improve my handwriting, but thanks for kind words.
Let's try together!

The fish is an 18"x24" doodle from my desk blotter. The fish is just a part of it. It doesn't show up well in a 1 inch square.

  • 2 months later...

Here is some studying I did for the final exam of a recent English course.

This next one is a bit more candid, with plenty variation and some copperplate from out of nowhere:

Sorry for the various optical effects that make for a bad image. I'm having issues with this notebook: the paper is excellent, but is very expensive and it has no margin :/

The studying paid off - I did really well on the exam!
