Really? My first posting of handwriting to FPN ever has to be right after Ken? LOL!

The photos don't do the ink justice by the way. I really like blue inks but this green is really fantastic! I may have to use a better camera for future uploads.

My first upload to this site.

I like experimenting with different styles. This is just because, without being too precious about it.

Lamy Vista 1.5mm, Diamine Grape.

The writings on this thread are awesome. Thank you for sharing.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

....

Woah - nice handwriting! Confident, interesting and legible.

Sincerely, beak.

I'm amazed at the quality and readability of the penmanship examples I'm seeing. Here's a sample of mine. I didn't try anything special; I wrote as I normally do.

Continuing the poem (A Visit from St. Nicholas) I started in the "Show us what your using" thread.

Very nice indeed. What nib do you have in your Carene?

Thank you.

I think it's a medium - I really don't remember.

The nib has 18k, the Waterman Logo, and 750 on it.

At the risk of being judged argumentative, it has generally been held in this forum that handwriting is not drawing, e.g., some hands, such as Engraver's script are drawn whereas business hands et al. are written. The processes are sufficiently different as to justify separate labels. So technically, at least in some discussions, not all writing is drawing. Quality has nothing to do with it. Just because two activities use many of the same tools does not mean that they are the same activity.

In the 1970s, a Stanford Ph.D. candidate killed his faculty adviser with a hammer. The act was probably not well described as carpentry or metal working (it was a ball peen hammer).

Mickey, (I had lot's of tasteless comments to carpentry candidate, which I will try to avoid), but what is the real difference between drawing and writing?
