This is just a sample of my everyday speed handwriting I use for notes and so on.

It has a loooong way to go but I'm confident it can improve and evolve into something beautiful in the long run as I've only been writing in cursive for two months or so.

So far I've just been winging it and thus it looks quite awkward at some places. I've learnt all this from just looking at how other people write since I never got to learn cursive in school.

I am extremely jealous of how good most of the people here are at writing :puddle:

(Also first time I upload a picture to here so sorry if it is a little big, doesn't seem to scale down as much as I want it to )

Good morning,

after quite some training, I finally came to a handwriting that I would consider worth showing:

This is a page from the story I am currently writing.

Have a good time,

This is lovely! The letters are consistent in weight, in slant, in size. I hope you take a good level of pride in this handwriting.

My everyday super quick scrawl, I dislike the pen it was written with completely but hey ho this is what my uni note taking etc has made my fast handwriting like. Working on normal speed writing nowadays to make it pretty again:-)

This is legible, but I think if you want to make improvements, you need to slow down and try for a slightly larger hand. When you write so very small, changes require either a very, very fine nib or time and practice that will allow you to write a bit larger and see the letters better so that you can modify the shapes.

This is your writing? This is text-book, lovely, well-spaced, a sort of hand that many of us could hope to achieve by lots of practice. Very very nice!

This is nice. It's quite legible and that's one of the biggest things to work for in a handwriting. You have to decide what you want to change, and then work at it, practicing every day, remembering to SLOW down. First you get the different letter shapes, then develop the same shapes at a higher speed..

My handwriting changes slightly, depending on various factors, but, sure, I'll write the alphabet for you -- maybe not today, but sure, I'd be happy to. Thanks for the compliment!

It really depends on the pen, nib, paper, ink and the weather (how I feel).

My handwriting is a messy combination of print and cursive. Since I started using the Lamy 1.1 it has forced me to slow down a little, which helps legibility wise, and I really love how it encourages more flourishes in my writing. I recently took a one-day calligraphy workshop and am really inspired to learn how to write better now, just need to figure out how to start practising!

Ridiculously addicted to my Lamy Safaris.
