What Does Your Handwriting Look Like

I'm only 17, but I would have probably 90% of my brain free if I removed all the wonderful 70-80s song lyrics I have stored up there. Journey, Alphaville, starship and so so many more... Yum. And you're welcome! I find that slowing down helps me relax too, gets me to enjoy it more and think about what I'm writing and not just be scrambling to write everything down.

Hi.

I was spending my time in a doldrums, I was caught in a cauldron of hate. I felt persecuted and paralysed, I thought that everything else would just wait.

Thanks to everyone for sharing, I love seeing how different people write and with all the great inks.

I picked up my fountain pen about a year ago after about ten years of typing everything.

I've been putting a little effort into my handwriting since then

I think the lines helped, and this cheap paper doesn't help, I get my first Rhodia tomorrow, along with the Goulet dark green sampler

Freddy,

Have you considered writing on lined paper? That would increase the legibility of your writing by a lot. Always enjoy seeing posts by you, keep it up!

Hi I hope everyone enjoys the pictures.

cheers,

I did. I love your handwriting. It's not too small at all. You probably could've done well to move the focus of the first image back by about 5cm to get the nib in full focus. It looks weird being focused on the grip. Other than that, I love your post.

Very kind of you to say so, it's weird though, I find my writing changes depending on my mood and which pen I use!

This looks like fun. Let the constructive critisism begin. Please bear in mind that about two years ago I could not read my own handwriting.

I absolutely love the Lamy grip. Weird. We're all different, huh? B)

Here's my handwriting, back after 30+ years of banishment by modernist architectural pedagogy.
