Stompie, you writing is absolutely beautiful! I used to practice italics a lot, but since I've moved I haven't been doing much of it. You've inspired me to pull my pens out again! What kind of nib are you using for each of these?

Stompie, that is beautiful work! Where does the line form for one of your bibles?!

My penmanship is nothing great, but just wanted to share. Written with a Rosetta with a Pendelton Point modification--don't blame them for the penmanship lol.

Since 1977, when I took an architectural printing class at engrg school in NYC, I've totally switched over to printing characters. I hope to someday get my handwriting script back!

Why Thank you!

I used a Schaeffer with either medium or broad nib, and then a Manuscript medium nib - both cheapies :-)

Here is my addition to this thread. I love writing quotes on different topics and here is some on 'wisdom'.

Written with Noodler's Flex pen filled with Private Reserve Orange Crush.

This is nice!

I am trying to order the Ahab from Noodlers as it seems they no longer bring them into the UK.

Here are a couple from my journal. No special care is taken, I just write. Funny how italic style can become second nature in just a few short years.

Excellent! I also use drawing lettering for much of my writing.

Since 1977, when I took an architectural printing class at engrg school in NYC, I've totally switched over to printing characters. I hope to someday get my handwriting script back!

My handwriting is still anything but admirable now, but believe me, it used to be repugnant. I was able to read it but not many others could without having to scrutinize the page, and even I had trouble reading some of my older work. I discovered Fountain Pens and saw everyone's beautiful handwriting so I decided it was time to change my own.

It's still in progress and I plan on figuring out each one of my letters (since some, like my capital I's and T's, aren't very desirable) to improve.

Anyway, here is the beginning of what hopes to be a beautiful script that I can write quickly and easily, since this scrupper (Scrupper? What is that?) also takes a bit of time to get down.

Bleh! It didn't work! I'll try again

Yaaaay, it worked :)

I'm getting better. Here's a little practice on Clairefontaine french ruled paper with a Conklin Endura XF Toledo flex nib with Montblanc Racing Green ink.
