Mine looks about like this:

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4070/4373686291_130c39e813_b.jpg

I was working on italic printing, but my copy of the Getty/Dubay book got stolen with my bag. I've noticed since I don't practice with the templates, it has gone downhill.

On the other hand, my calligraphy looks pretty good. I just haven't gotten 'round to fusing the two in a way that's functional.

vidalia11,

Beautiful, flowing Business Writing and outstanding Italic. The second paragraph in particular is a really fine example of Italic Handwriting; even, balanced and perfectly legible at speed.

In the italic, if the lines of writing had been just a little further apart, so that the ascenders and descenders were clear of each other, it would have been even better. This is by no means a criticism, merely an observation!

This is a sample from some old working notes (Pelikan M400 and Noodler's Black).

That's a beautiful $\xi$ and some nice $\omega$'s, but I think your $\Omega$ is far too squished.

Also, are those $v$'s or $\nu$'s? They are very nice for either, but it's important to distinguish them.

+1 on Apotheosis' handwriting. I like it (and so many others) much better than my own!
