What Does Your Handwriting Look Like

My household pet is my sourdough starter. It lives in the refrigerator and eats flour and water. Under the circumstances described, I would probably eat it. (Can I assume the raft does not also contain a sack of flour and an oven?)

Sounds like a plan.....Ferment and bake away on your Zodiac Hurricane. Just stop by the bay

so I can have some of your delicious bread. {happysmileyfacetimethingie}

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Freddy and Helen,

I really enjoyed reading both of your quotes. The Judy Collins lyrics came at the right time to hit me in a deep way. Thanks to both of you for posting these!

A little flex with the Ahab, and my regular handwriting with the X750...

tumblr_oq1cdfigRG1qi7c6jo1_540.jpg

I get compliments on the flexed handwriting, but when I see what gets posted all over FPN, I don't think I'm even close. The flourishes are curlicues are still beyond me at this point. I want to take my flex writing further, but everywhere I've looked today keeps repeating the "oblique dip pen" mantra. I have a lot of down time at work where I can practice with my Ahab or 9128 Estie. A dip pen is really not an option. Where should I start looking to help improve?

Is that railroading intended? Or is it a result of pressing harder on a dry nib to coax more ink out of it?

I'm not criticising – just curious.

Cheers,

David.
