This is a page of notes in a Forest Choice notebook, which is rather ghosty - the passage at the end was written with a Waterman Lady Patricia ringtop with a F-XF nib.

Excuse the topic thats being written as its to do with my university work, but this is what my writing looks like, it used to be far worse (i was actually advised to use a fountain pen as my writing was so bad, and it would force me to write differently than what i was originally)

Working with a medium italic nib added to Pilot Metropolitan, and I want to learn a right form before tinkering to make it my own. ✌️

 

 

Do you have a model for italic script you would like to emulate? ........

Jaki Svaren was a student of Lloyd Reynolds and is a professional calligrapher and the author of "Written Letters," an excellent calligraphy resource. I have her permission to post these materials.

When I am not in a hurry, and focused on a Scripture study, this is what my handwriting looks like. I spent 23 yrs working for physicians, and picked up their bad handwriting issues. Often their handwriting looked like Egyptian hieroglyphics and far too often, so does mine. I am currently writing (cursive) a commentary on the book of Romans and have completed about 120 pages of research.

The pen in rotation today is Wality 70 T. It is a small sized demonstrator pen which is manufactured by Airmail. It is inked with Krishna Forget Me Not Ink. The nib is custom grounded to Fine Cursive Italic.
