FS: Allen Edmonds Brookwood slip ons

So here's the deal. This is a pair of Allen Edmonds Brookwood slip-ons, in the tassled style favored by lawyers, bankers, etc. Instead of being flat, the side lacing is braided, which I think adds a distinctive touch.

About 4 months ago, I sent these shoes to Allen Edmonds for reconditioning. As part of that process, they replaced the soles and heels, stripped the finish and reapplied it, and replaced the tassels. This process, as you can confirm at the AE web site, costs $125.00, and new these shoes were $350.00.

Unfortunately, when the soles were replaced, AE managed to shrink the shoes about 1/2 size. They started life as a 9 1/2 D and they had stretched some, so they are now a small 9 1/2 or a roomy 9, stil pretty much a D width. (I had some fruitless dealings with AE customer service, who claim that the shoes still measure 9 1/2 D on their shoemaking lasts.)

So anyhow, I am just trying to recover some of my investment before I give up and consign these shoes to the back of the closet forever more. They have been previously worn (not since reconditioning), but as you can see from the pictures, they appear completely brand new, top and bottom. Shoes will be shipped in AE shoe bags in an AE box.

I am asking $60 plus $8 shipping for these shoes. That's about half of what the reconditioning cost. Check, MO or Paypal, will ship internationally at cost.
