The first batch of plastic parts finally came out, assembled with other metal test parts, doing the 1st time function test.

WOW that's a really good looking pen. I can't wait.

 

Is it clipless though?

 

I think its just missing the spring cap in that prototype, the TWSBI forums have the clips on the earlier designs, and there's parts for it in their June 6 update.

it's a shame but it appears on the finished product the cap cannot be posted (was expected, from the images we've seen back then). That's a problem for some of us. The dynamic of the pen getting filled is amazing, though.

 

The nib is interchangeable between the two pen models?

All parts on this pen are not interchangable with Diamond 530, I just tried you can post the cap on this pen, OH, I need to confirm this after I put the inner cap in first.

So this is the basic shape of the pen, right? Not quite what I was expecting somehow, but it's not really a bad thing. The filling video is way cool. This gets added to the list.

Is that one of the major function of Visconti inkpot? filling the vacuum tip up, so fill up full tank?

Nnnnn! worse think about it.

 

BUT, one after another first, I need to working on 530 trevel inkpot first; haven't start anything on this yet.

the nib looks bigger in this one that the diamond. or is the pen smaller.
