twsbi vacuum filling system fountain pen project

Yeah, I don't tend to get rid off stuff too much. My five year old is already using an FP, mainly to draw. She has quickly found out where not to put her fingers. We know our second daughter will have Down syndrome. I'm hoping using an FP will help develop her fine motor skills. I'll probably get the some TWSBIs when speedy come up with a shorter version than the 530.

Kind regards,

Eric

Hey speedy, I was wondering if you would consider more nib sizes for the diamond 530 pens, not just the standard EF, F, M, B, but also double or triple Bs, obliques, calligraphy nibs etc? I had some experience with the taiwan online stores and I see that they sell the nib units separately. Would there be a similar scheme such as this should you have these nib options in the future?

Is this different than for te Diamond 530? If so, why?

On more higher end pen, many of them come with solid clip, instead of steel stamping clip. One problem of solid clip is that it is rigid without elastic, so a spring loaded mechanism is needed.

Hello Speedy,

What is the anticipated availability date for the Vac 700? Will an email go out to twsbi ebay store newsletter recipients or will the announcement be here on fpn?

Thank You!

...Long story short, Michael Jackson is not an idiot (for purchasing the Beatles masters, though, price paid and use of the masters may factor into such a subjective opinion)...

Not to thread c**p, but Michael Jackson did not purchase the Beatles' master tapes. He purchased the music publishing rights. Very different animal. As far as I know, the masters belong to EMI.

OK, now back to the TWSBIs.

Speedy,

Very cool looking white feeder. Are those feeders only for testing purposes, so you can see how the in flows in the feeder?

Kind regards,

Eric

Yes, this is the T1, meaning 1st test after the mold complete, there will be T2 or T3... after we fine tune certain problems.

Eventually it will be in black color.

one of the picture feeder with nib, you can see feeder front (near tip) the color is darker, that is the ink flowing into front of the nib..

After parts is approved, I will proceed to send them to Bock for nib order...

In China I cannot upload to youtube, today I am going back to Taipei, will have a few video clips to up load

one is Vac 700 writing with this T1 feeder

2nd is how to fill vacuum filling pen to full (without a special tool, cannot be done)

2rd is the drop test of one of my colored Diamond 530. (but just to show you the potential, don't do it at home yourself though).
