Visconti Blue

I have not tried the Visconti blue yet-but I can say the Visconti black is very very good, it comes out a true black, no washed out greys at all. If the blue is anything as good as this I will speed up my purchase.

I have a bottle of blue on the way from Pear Tree Pens. My first Visconti bottle -- I'm stoked! :bunny01:

I saw this in a book of ink samples at Flax in SF. I was hooked immediately.

i got this ink and was blown away at the colour...never had a blue this nice...but different pens effect the ink differently...eg below...

Visconti is my second best blue. By every criterion I know, it is a very good ink.

(Diamine WES Imperial is the first. Pity they don't make pens.)

It is a nice color I don't deny it but having a bottle of OMAS dark grey which was said to be a great ink , I am in fact disappointed because the ink is not as fluid as Waterman, PR or MB inks and the ink flow is not so regular as with other inks. I wonder if the visconti inks encounter this problem.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
