UPDATED: TAKEN!

Thanks Troy! Just to make sure my karma is intact, I'll do this now...

It's not a FP, but I recently bought a Copic Multiliner SP BS (Brush) pen.

I'm very fussy with brush pens, and it isn't quite for me. The brush tip is of the foam variety, so it's a little like a tapered marker. They are good quality disposable pens though - light metal with pigment ink. (The tip can be replaced, and it can also be refilled, so I guess they're not that disposable!)I use the technical type ones in my artwork sometimes.

If anyone is interested in trying out a brush pen, or just wants this baby, I'll take the first PM.

Cheers,

Anton

Ps. If the lucky person happens to live locally (in Australia) I'll chuck in some Epson 4x6 photo paper, but it's a bit heavy for international shipping costs.

I have a bottle of Black Visconti ink - the kind of bottle that comes with the pen.

I would like to see this go to someone who really needs it, so if you can afford to buy your own ink, please try to refrain from jumping into this - honor system here, I'm not going to require you to submit proof

I will ship this anywhere worldwide.

My turn! :) I've benefited so much from FPN, I'd like to give a little something back! Plus, I need some good karma for a major exam I have in August.

I'm a student, so it's not much, but I'm offering one small Clairefontaine wirebound spiral notebook, 3.5" x 5.5", orange and gray cover. I'll ship it anywhere in the world via media mail or its equivalent, as long as shipping isn't more than $5.

I'd like this to go to a fellow student, please. (I'll do another giveaway later for the general membership.)

PM me until 8 PM Pacific Time on April 16, 2009 if you're a student and are interested--I'll use a random number generator to pick the winner out of everyone who PMs me during that time! :)

CLAIMED! Lucky number 3 wins it, and it will be on its way to the UK next week! :) Thanks to everyone who PM'd!

Thanks Peggy, the notebook arrived safely :D

OK. I was one of the happy winners of yumbo's Apica CD 15 journals. I love it! Very smooth paper in a great weight for FPs. So, in order to remain karmically-balanced (neologism alert!) I am offering up two Doane Utility Notebooks to people who have not been able to try them for themselves, for whatever reason. These are 3.5" x 5.5" with wide-ruled, heavy weight, paper that also contains a grid within the wide rule lines of .125" squares. Doane, Grid + Lines design is pretty cool, it's just that I prefer Field Notes myself, despite their having thinner paper.

First two PMs get one each. With the 5 minute rule between PMs, I will announce winners here and ask for a PM from you again with your address info.

Claimed! These will go out first class mail from the USPS tomorrow.

I have a packet of vintage Thistle Co. Blue-Black ink powder. Although it's listed as mixing 1 quart of ink, a 3x mixture is recommended, so a single packet should produce 1/3 quart of ink. It was all the rage among cheap ink nuts a few weeks ago, and the NOS supply on eBay has since dried up. Here is a review of the ink.

I'll send it out via USPS to furthest FPN-er from where I live, in Washington, D.C., that PMs me by 10:00pm EST on Wednesday, May 6.

Distance will be determined by using the distance calculator on this site.

Can't wait to hear from all of you! Don't forget to list your city, state, country in your PM!

James

EDIT: What the heck, I'll also send a packet to the PM from the person geographically closest to me... for that one, I might need zip codes to get more precise measures of distance.

Calling all Calgarians!!!!

I will be having a "Get this stuff the heck out of my office!!!" event in the next 2 weeks. Included in the giveaway/deeply discounted sale (very few items for sale, the majority of items will be free) are pens, ink, paper, and other pen stuff that is clogging up the chi in my house. Not good.

I wish for people to come to my house and get this stuff out. I have tried giving it away when I have seen people asking to try something and a few pens and much ink has left the building with no cost to the recipients, but I can no longer justify the shipping. So. Get in your Calgary SUVs and trot on up. Please PM me if you are interested and I will try to coordinate a day that will be convenient for everyone.

Offerings include:

1/2 full or better inks (at least 15)

Gently or unused Behance, Rhodia, Apica Bagasse, Ecojot etc.

Retro 51 Postmaster FP, Lamy Safaris, Faber Castell kid's pens, some calligraphy pens.

Anything else I can dig up.

Many thanks,

Kathryn

Not sure I'll be able to make it.........

........even if I set off now........ ;) :(

Sorry. It is also a huge time issue for me. I just don't have time to coordinate sending the stuff out and packaging (especially ink) and this beats leaving it all on the front lawn with a sign on it saying "Take Me Home With You" which was my first thought.

Thank you to all the PMs I received regarding the Thistle powdered ink. In the end, however, the furthest FPNer to PM me was cirrah in the Phillipines and the closest was W0den in New York City.

Peace!

Doesn't that defeat the object somehow?

If it doesn't, can someone send me an MB 149 with OB nib as soon as possible please.......
