I am looking to pick up some french ruled loose sheets. Also some top-bound pads, A4, A5, A6 (french ruled).

I've been talking with Exaclair about the Triomphe paper in non-white colors, and I was directed to the Pollen collection, which has A4 sheets that are the same finish as the Triomphe (apparently, it's the same paper exactly, just a different weight). Though Exaclair only imports the 210g version, which is cardstock thickness. I can get over 30 different colors of 120g A4 Pollen. The minimum quantity purchase is 10 packs (of 50 sheets), which will run $152.64, around $15 per pack (more expensive than the Triomphe, about the price of G. Lalo Vergé de France). If you're interested, let me know. I am very seriously considering purchasing this for my website and offering it regularly, but only if the interest is there. I set up a poll to see what colors are most in demand here: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php?/topic/144150-clairefontaine-triomphe-pollen-paper-colors/page__mode__show

Of course if you're interested in your own color that I won't carry you can get the minimum purchase yourself through this French order.

I can't tell from the catalogue - do they sell mixed packs of colors? Love the intense colors, but can't afford to indulge in a pack of each. :headsmack:

Assume there are matching envelopes there? [still struggling with getting the catalogue pages to zoom in and out] :headsmack:

Quick question regarding double sheets:

In the case of item # 5758 for example, is that one a4 sheet folded into two smaller pages, or is a sheet really TWO a4 sheets in size and when it's folded each page becomes a4 sized?

I'm going to be buying a case of loose-leaf, but I'm trying to decide between double with no holes, or regular with holes--unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be regular with no holes, which would be my first choice if it was available.

Thanks!

That is an uncut A3 sheet folded once to generate 2 sheets (4 pages) of A4 paper connected along the edge.

Alright everyone, today's the day! March 1st is the deadline for placing your order! Now because of the interest I've had in two particular products, 1751 (100 loose sheets French-rule) and 1756 (100 loose sheets ruled w/ margin) I will allow orders of less than the carton pack for these. I am going to purchase them myself to have available for sale on GouletPens.com, but I will take orders for them now in quantities as small as 5 packs to guarantee your getting them when I receive them. Send me a DM or email at brian-at-gouletpens.com (use @ symbol) to place your order. I'll take payments until March 15th, then forever hold your peace! :headsmack:

Just an update here, the order placement is officially 'closed'. I'm going through right now and double checking all of my emails, DMs and other various methods of communication to make sure I didn't miss anyone. If you are ordering something, you should have gotten some sort of confirmation from me by now, so send me a message if I missed you. I'll be sending out paypal invoices to everyone who's ordering in the next day or two.

Aww boo. I was away from FPN for a bit and completely missed the deadline! If anyone happened to order more than they need/want or are willing to sell some of their supply, can you please post on here what you have and the price? I hope this order goes well so that we may have another opportunity like this in the future. Thanks so much GouletPens for doing this! Oh, just saw that you will be selling some loose leaf on your site, I'll definitely be stopping by the shop once this order comes in!

I'd also be interested in purchasing some loose leaf from anyone who has some to spare.

Thanks.

Please do share with us how the experience works out for all of you..

So glad to see the interest in the french ruled paper, and that Brian is considering this for regular stock.

I will be interested in purchasing this..

However, could not afford the mass purchase, and needed paper right when the Crane's outlet find was occuring in another thread, so had to jump on that one..

I'm looking at an addressed Crane's envelope at this moment, written with flexy Waterman's nib and Luxury Blue ink..and where I applied the flex, there is significant feathering on the envelope only, not the matching paper.

My curious right handed cursive-script sure looks like that of a lefthanded backslant.. Think the French Ruled may aid in this regard.

Good news! Exaclair has placed the order into France and we should be getting it in with their April shipment. Depending on customs, I should have it sometime around the end of April/beginning of May!

That is quite prompt.

It is indeed....the timing just happened to work out. If I had waited a few more days it would have been a least a month or so more time. :yikes:

Foolish question?

If this works out well for Goulet Pens and FPN members, will it be repeated regularly? Such as quarterly or half-yearly or some such?

Pelikan 120 : Lamy 2000 : Sheaffer PFM III : Parker DuoFold Jr : Hero 239 : Pilot Vanishing Point : Danitrio Cum Laude : Esterbrook LJ : Waterman's 12 and an unknown lever-filler : Lambert Drop-fill : Conway Stewart 388

MB Racing Green : Diamine Sapphire Blue , Registrar's : J. Herbin violet pensée , café des îles : Noodler's Baystate Blue : Waterman Purple, Florida Blue
