PC in from MeiaNoite. Looking at this picture of an ancient cathedral, I know I'm supposed to be struck by it's beauty. Fact is, I'm wondering about modern maintenence on that cobblestone street. Do cars drive on that? What is the road crew like? Thanks.

Christmas card in from ndw76. The card is written in some Thai sanskrit-derived language, but the handwritten part is in English. Reminds me of a Cambodian coworker--except better English. Thanks!

Glad to know the card got there.

Just to answer your question, no cars are allowed to drive there. Have no idea how the maintenance works but it wouldn't be the same if the street was anything but cobblestone, it's been like that for centuries
