received 7 letters in the last 12 days, have replied to 5, not mailed yet, until all 7 are ready

Hello all,

 

Ok so I wanted to apologize, I have a TON of postcards and letters to respond to. (and even had a letter come back to me for postage to VELA that i have to resend).

 

Unfoutunately, between oral surgery, going to Florida to meet my soon-to-be mom and sister inlaw, and being fenerally behind at work I have had no time in which to write.

 

so again, my apologies to all, and I will be responding as soon as possible.

Sent out 4 postcards yesterday to Piembi. My boys are excited they will be receiving cards all the way from Germany! We are looking up your town on Google Earth! This is a great lesson for them. Thanks!

I have sent a number out as well, certainly to the people who have sent me one as noted above, and a few more. I just received a bunch of postcards - Group of Seven art, Inuit Bird art and this book of 100 cards, each a cover of a book published by Penguin. So, if you are interested in receiving a card (specific or otherwise, let me know). I will be posting this last bit on the PC Swap thread.

My sons received postcards yesterday from Jestre (North Carolina) and InkyPete (Australia). They really thought InkyPete was a funny name!

While walking the dog I posted cards to FredRydr and ladybleu.

 

In the past few days, I have received a wide variety of interesting cards from Rheab, PaulK, PaulGeo, pyotrkot, physicsgirl (btw, thanks for the gruene cactus, nice ink!) and ruud2904. Thanks very much to all of your for making the time and effort to send these cards, I appreciate seeing the different cards and hearing from such an interesting group of people!

I am far behind but plan to make amends soon! I do have a really nice vacation coming up in mid-March and plan to read and write and actually enjoy life.

I had a bunch of work to get done before I retired, but Friday was the last day.
