Letter in from @Mark from Yorkshire.
I'll write back as soon as I can.
Got some nice new inks I wanna try, so it will be so much fun writing back!

This might not be the best place to post this, but I couldn't find another place that seemed to fit any better....

How does everyone track what inks they've used to write to which friends?  I don't want to send people letters with duplicate inks, but haven't found a good way to track it yet, vs just plain notebook paper with their names at the top, so was wondering if anyone had better ideas / files / suggestions / trackers / apps / etc.

Quite literally I never think about this.  I just use what I've inked up, because those are the inks that are catching my attention at that moment in time.  I wouldn't worry too much about it, because the properties of even the same ink can change when you switch nibs, switch pens, switch papers, or even just prime your feed.  Also, I think it's true for most of us that we buy entire bottles of ink rather than just a sample of it because we like it enough to use it more than just once, so I think people will understand an ink-repeat. ;-)

Lol.  Okay.  I think I'm maybe a bit too OCD for that, but I enjoy the encouragement.... 😃

I was hoping for something electronic that I could use, like a database, and was thinking of maybe a salesman's app or some sort of employee tracker, but I track it on notebook paper currently in the different colors (lately I've been ordering the inks in rainbow order when I write) so I enjoy that aspect even if it's not electronic.

That does make sense though about the bottle of ink.... If I'm hoping to use each only once per pen pal, then I've got my work cut out for me, esp since I ordered six new bottles payday.... eep.  So Yeah, I think I might relax some on that idea, but I do still like to have a record so I can look back and see what I sent before.....

Thanks for replying!!!!  Food for thought.... 😃
