Today I received two postcards.

 

One postcard, from FredRydr, was a recycled SYLOUETTE television postcard. Very cool! My next card to Fred will have to somehow demonstrate a similar degree of ingenuity and... thrift.

 

Another postcard, from Rolina, shows a lovely aerial view of the Old Course at St. Andrews. Clearly, Rolina's intent was to invite me to Scotland for a round of golf at the Old Course. When's our tee time?

Today I received two letters written with... fountain pens!

 

One from MissChief. The envelope had a wax seal on it. My first! Thank you!

 

One from FredRydr. This was an old V...-Mail (Victory Mail) letter from the Second World War. (There's interesting info on Wikipedia about this mail service.) Most of the letter was passed by the censor, but a small part was obliterated by the censor... just like in the good old days.... Thank you!
