My triplets!!!Visconti!!

After splurging yesterday for a new Visconti Van Gogh blue,i have finally had some time to get the Nikon D50 out. Here they are!!The triplets. All three are Van Gogh Midi's.

Lava Red,Musk Green and Blue. The red and Green both have SS nibs,one a medium and the other a fine.The new blue has a 14k gold (white gold) nib in fine. To complete the deal,i purchased a Visconti 3-pen leather case.Seems like these guys will get even more of a workout now!!

Ink in each pen:

The Lava Red pen has Private Reserve Black Cherry.

The Musk Green is filled with Private Reserve Avacado.

The Blue completed with DC Show blue from Private Reserve.

 

Have to break that fine nib in a bit on the blue.Still a wee bit stiff.But it is starting to come along.

 

I really have come to love the Visconti lineup.And i can't say enough about the rep at the PDX Pen show.Went out of his way to take care of my nib trouble (traded a broad for a fine)and also a great deal on that blue with 14k gold nib.

So when do you add the Vanilla for a quartet?

I debated that but really didn't like the look of the vanilla.Maybe the Tortoise though.that might be the next one,albeit,many months down the line.

Paul, i really didn't intend on buying a new pen when i put those up for sale.Completely forgot about the upcoming show!!LOL As for the pens,i have given three away as gifts to some graduating seniors and one to my mother.She is a FP lover as well.

I only have one left for sale:A Monteverde Black tie.Maybe another gift.
