Is that a crack on your Lamy 2000, looks like a large crack on the bottom left going upwards just above the K on the KIMBALL.

That's a reflection or shadow of the watch strap. The L2K is in perfect health

Off the Elgin? on the inside of the case it's marked "163085" and on the movement it is "X207645" The "X" is a more sallow etching than the numbers so I'm not really sure if it is part of the "207645" or not. Would love to know the actual year it was produce though.

The number on the case is actually the serial number of the case while the one on the movement is for the watch. Your watch movement was only made it seems for two years. It is a 21 jewel 538 movement and was made in 1939.
