It's a Swatch Body & Soul Automatic from the Irony collection. They may have had some other similar ones of that model with the same name, not sure. It was also sold with a black leather band, which I also have.

I think they quit making them a few years ago, so they're not on their website...I had to order mine from the Swatch store in Chicago last November.

Thank you GirchyGirchy! I'm going to see if I can find one on eBay then... I was looking for a Seiko SNA311 but I definately like this Swatch more!

You're welcome! But I'd try that store in Chicago first...the woman was very helpful, and even took the correct amount of links out for me after telling her my wrist size. I paid $125 for the one with the steel bracelet, and I think the black leather band version is $115 or so.

I don't wear it too often - I work in a manufacturing plant so I never know what I'll be getting into on any given day. But so far it's been reliable and keeps time pretty well. I worried about being able to tell what time it was at first, but haven't had a problem with that.

Here's the back of it, BTW:

I'd love meeting this kind woman of yours in Chicago, but I live in France, I don't think that will be possible for me :D

125$ is really a good price for this watch!!

I asked her at the time how often they mail out watches, and she says they do it very often, even internationally. I didn't pick mine up in the store, I called and had her ship it to me. So there's still a chance! ;)

Here's one that I'm fond of. It's a Seiko SNL017 (maybe SNL015?) Sportura. I absolutely loved that watch, but then due to an accident in shipping back to have it refurb'd, it's somewhere in Watch Heaven. I ended up replacing it with several nice pieces (A Citizen Cal. 2100 and a very nice Bulova quartz), but I'd swap them out without question if I could have my Sportura back.

The Flame that is pictured is my workhorse, and it nearly perfectly matched the orange hands.

If any of you WIS-types ever run across one of these for a good price, please let me know. I'm looking for one.

Whoa, nice stuff everyone! I bypassed this thread because I'm not much of a watch guy. 'Course I could just look at the pens ;-)

Here's a small contribution using some silvery stuff I have with me at the moment.

I'm playing with a new flash set-up, so please bear with me. Here's my new Seiko monster with a Signum Nova:

This is a great topic, but I can see that it is going to wind up costing me a fortune. My dad gave me a 1970's Omega that I'm having restored, as well as an old Bulova/Caravelle pocket watch that belonged to my grandfather.
