Hello everybody

This is the only watch I own and my favorite pen I use for all my letters and journals. The pocket watch is an Omega from around 1917 and the pen is from Aurora

A stunning Omega pocket watch! Tell me about it!...Everything about it!

And what kind of chain do you have attached to it?

Thank you Shangas, I like it as well. I don´t buy many things but I buy the things I like a lot.

The clock should be from somewhere around 1917 according to it´s serial number and the databases I´ve seen on Omega. It´s in 18 K gold and the clockwork is the C quality and as far as I can tell It doesn´t really need much adjustment. I haven´t adjusted the time for at least two weeks and It is still one time. I rewind it once in the morning and once at night though.

It´s been serviced four times according to the notations inside.

The chain is just some cheap chain that I liked, most certainly not gold or of much monetary value. But I don´t mind cheap things that look nice. :-)

I bought the pocket watch from an old gentleman here in Stockholm, he had thousands of old clocks from all ages in his tiny store.

Well that´s all I know about it. It´s a great pocket watch and it has a nice soothing ticking.

Thanks, I will. I don't want to be the one who ruined it before it's 100th birthday. :)

Yes, the Namiki chinkin pens are amazing works of art. I had thought that maki-e pens were the most impressive decorated pens until I first saw a chinkin pen. My photos don't do justice to the gorgeous contrast between the jet-black lacquer background and the delicate gold design. Only downside I guess is that this is the one pen in my collection that I can't bear to ink.

I paired this pen with the Lange Datograph because the Dato has the most beautiful movement of any watch I've seen (the photo below doesn't really capture it very well) and arguably is the finest chronograph being made today.

I agree, that Lange is something to behold! I really love Lange, their watches ooze integrity and class. Congratulations on a fine watch and the hard work to have earned it!

All the best.

These watches and fountain pen photos are really nice, amazing, I really like fountain pen, I think that ink is the most important for fountain pen. I would say that this full size pen that fits very well in the hand, and many people likes these.

I recently broke my watch-chain. While repairing it, I did a bit of swapping around to turn my single albert into a double albert. This was the result:

I can now wear my vest-pocket fountain pen as...a vest-pocket fountain pen!

The pen's from about 1925, the watch is from 1899. The chain is 12 inches, solid brass.

Thanks, Patrik!

The chain doesn't look like it, but the two halves are of equal lengths. It's not really long enough to be used as a Double Albert, but I'm too poor to afford a proper DA chain.

A little low-rent compared to others here, but I liked how this photo came out:

Who needs a wristwatch when you have a pocketwatch with skeletonized movement? ;)

Full version here at my deviantART account. Unfortunately the watch chain terminates in a really tiny loop, so it's hard to wear it all the time. (If anyone has a line on good watch chains, they should let me know.)

I don't have any photos of my pens and my watch together, but I do have this:

Parker Frontier and Parker Rialto. A bit of photoshop was required to bring out the highlights. ;)
