My Monster is a carnivore

I bought this band because it reminded me of the UTS band but more chunky.

Lamy Al-Star and Seiko Monster with custom mods (Face, hands, band). I'm a broke art student with an unhealthy gadget and office supply fetish, so a U-boat or Panerai is way out of my budget. I beat the hell out of my watch, but I think it gives it character.

I love that band. I'd consider getting one for my seiko diver. Where did you get it, if you don't mind me asking?

EEK! Sorry, maybe images have been removed.

I think this is a work in progress... The Omega has a deep blue dial that doesn't quite appear here. They look so good together I'll have to have another go later. :)

Here we go...

My everday $14.95 Benrus WalMart Special.... and a beautiful Sheaffer 1250 Balance in virtually mint condition.

When you spend most of your day working with your hands, you don't buy good watches... to me a watch is a practical tool. I appreciate the look of fancy watches, but just can't see myself spending money on one... same way with pens... That might be the reason I don't own a high end fancy modern pen.

OH, the fact that I am cheap might also account for this.

Your a breath of fresh air! I also operate on this principle, yet i have yet to venture into the world of work so i dont really use my hands that much. When i was rowing and fiddling about with my boat i always scratched my watch up =/

Reform 1745 - Diamine Med. Blue

Reform P120 - Diamine Teal

Lamy Safari - Noodlers Black

Lots of Rotring Art Pens for Calligraphy - Diamine inks
