Can I be jealous of your handwriting? ;)

Great pictures with it reflecting in the watch!

You can, but be jealous to Carrie (FPN nick) since it's her handwriting.

This thread is bad for one's bank account. It makes me want to buy things I can't afford.

Seiko World Timer and MB 146 (thanks to my father for both).

This has to be the longest thread I've ever seen, on any forum, anywhere.

Absolutely stunning photos of great watches and pens; kept clicking and thinking I'd never get to the end.

I could look at these shots all day!

“I view my fountain pens & inks as an artist might view their brushes and paints.

They flow across paper as a brush to canvas, transforming my thoughts into words and my words into art.

There is nothing else like it; the art of writing and the painting of words!”

Doug,

I only wish I knew. The watch is probably the better part of 25 years old. It was taken as a replacement for a slightly different model from the same line that the jeweler was unable to find parts to repair. I think that the swap happened in '93...? I would love to know more if anyone recognizes it or has suggestions as to how I might go about finding out.
