Goodness, my photography (or subject matter for that...matter) isn't on par at all with most of this. Oh well. I'm happy with them anyway.

$20 Chinese self-winding mechanical which I just got today, a Shaffer's Statesman (so I've been told), and a Monte Verde Intima.

Pen by muji. Watch by muji.

That is an interesting topic.

Do you know which manufacturer produces (or lent the name) to both pens and watches?

Of course we should take apart the mega companies like Richemond or LVMH that holds different luxury brands...

In my mind comes Cartier, Montblanc, and Mazzuoli.

Mazzuoli is an Italian designer known for his

Moka Fountain pen:

and his

Manometro Watches:

Any other?

WOW!!!! What an amazing watch. Nice pen too, but that watch is the Cat's meow. Hubba hubba.

Cheers,

Two great American brands beginning with 'W': Waterman and Waltham

Assuming you haven't been... If you ever come to Boston, the Waltham Watch factory has been converted into an Industrial Museum. Some really great exhibits, including tons of space dedicated to the watch company. They were truly breaking new ground both in production techniques and products.

I love that watch, but the $30,000+ USD pricetag is a bit much. If you don't mind my asking, what's the going price on your side of the planet?

The last time I posted here, my submission was, frankly...shocking. I hope that this one will look much better!

Tah-daaaaah!:

The book: "Flags of our Fathers", by James Bradley.

The pens: Parker Duofold 'Big Red', Parker '51' Flighter, Parker 51.

The watch: 14S Waltham Model 1895, manufactured circa 1899. A special 21st birthday present for myself. Runs like a dream and keeps time excellently.

That is a gorgeous watch. The pens are nice too.
