Above all shadows rides the Sun
And Stars for ever dwell:
I will not say the Day is done,
Nor bid the Stars farewell.

Let's see some of your favorite fountain pen and watch combo photos, if you got them

I like the IWC Ingenieur and the Montblanc 146 with M nib. Both are daily used and in good conditions.

I just realized I don't have the proper lenses for macro shots like this.

Anyway, here's the better stuff:

And then the ones I carry with me every day:

Nabster I love the pocket watches *and* the pens!! Wow! Is that a Charles Hubert in your second pic? I was thinking getting one, but I decided for something cheaper. But the two watches look almost the same, so I don't think it's a major loss...I'll do a photo sometime soon...

Yes, Charles Hubert. I wanted a skeleton style pocket watch and that one fit the bill just fine and didn't cost much to boot. The back opens up and you can look through it as well.

My daily watch for the past 5 years, a JLC Reverso mechanical Classique (basic model). Same size and proportions as in the 1930s. Art Deco design matching that on the MB F Scott Fitzgerald pens.

It was the fact that the watch opened up at the back that made me decide not to get one, unfortunately. I didn't want to have to guess constantly which lid covered what. But I did get myself a nice watch...I think.

There's an engraveable shield on the front and just a fleur de lis on the back, as well as a nice feature of the front popping open about half depression of the button and the back at full depression. Not to much guessing at all really, but they don't really mention those sort of things in the descriptions of it I guess, but I completely see where you're coming from.

I am not a Rolex Sub kind of guy, and prefer dressy watches. The pen is Aurora 75th, my only one of 2 Aurora at this point.

Stunning Rolex Cellini, Kevin. I've never seen that design before. Does it have movable lugs?

Thanks. The lugs are movable and fit nicely to any wrist.
