Many thanks for the nice comments.

 

So far I don't use a light box but only indirect natural lightning; this means only about 1 out of 50 pictures looks like the above ones after using photoshop as well.

It's one of my favourite pens. I'd quite like a 'normal' green Pelikan at some point, although for modern ones I prefer the blue.

Here are mine. Nothing fancy, but they're still my babies. The Esterbrook and Al-Star are my favorites. The Phileas was my first fountain pen (a gift from my wife), and has the most sentimental value.
