modern Conklin ordinary Stub 1.1 to Italic EF.

I understand this controversial decision due to the lack of tip, but that was the order.

Well, with time new micro-italic will turn into original tip configuration, because of very high pressure in contact area and steel is not as hard as iridium or alike.

But its no problem to renew it then.

Having removed material it is highly unlikely for the nib to return from EF to its original 1.1 configuration.

Add lightness and simplicate.

Over time, depending on what surface to write on, sandpaper will greatly speed up this process :)
