Blue Moore picked up from post office today. Wow, what an amazing pen. I had thought it was plastic. I think that it's actually celluloid! WOW! It's a gorgeous deep blue, and feels amazing in the hand. I've been lusting after this pen since first posted by Sarj - I feel fulfilled! Great service, thanks so much, Archimark!!!!

 

 

Edit: Not sure it's celluloid (my Moore memory is dusty) - but it's still wonderful!!!!

Blue Moore picked up from post office today. Wow, what an amazing pen. I had thought it was plastic. I think that it's actually celluloid! WOW! I'll join the satisfied recipients list. Yesterday's mail brought a beautiful lapis Senior Duofold from Archimark. I wanted this pen since the first day he posted it for sale, but it was way out of my price range. We agreed on a mutually satisfactory trade, and I finally have a Senior Duofold to join my four Juniors.

 

My son practically drooled over this pen when I showed him this post several weeks ago, and now that it has arrived in our household he is trying to figure out a way to make it his own.

 

One of my Jr. pens is a blue-on-blue lapis, but is very dark. This white-on-blue lapis Sr. has very good color. I am still tuning the nib to get it just to my liking, but even along the way I am enjoying writing with it. I think a previous owner may have written with it for many years in one particular position, because I noticed last night when I rotated the pen slightly clockwise in my hand the sweet spot was much larger.

While it's been hard to part with all the pens I've put up for sale, it has been a good feeling to share them with fellow FPNrs and know they're finding good homes....
