Lamy 2000: Medium Vs Broad Nib?

Well, I finally settled for a Lamy 2000 B nib.... Big mistake!

The nib is very wide and I felt like I was writing with a marker and not a FP. Evidently not the right pen (at least for me) for everyday use. :crybaby:

In hindsight I guess I should have chosen the M nib. But there has been an unexpected bonus: because of this nib I have now come into contact with Pendleton Brown!!!

Update as soon as I get the pen back...

Lamy will also do a free (just pay S&H) nib exchange on a 2000, if that helps. I had my F swapped out for an M with a pretty quick turn around time. I'm very glad I made the swap.

That was my first option, but when I contacted Filofax I was informed that the cost was $19.50 (plus S&H) for a nib swap... :gaah:
