My eyes are greener than Sally's! Congratulations Chris!

And your photographic skills still bring drool to my lips!

Oh Shucks!!! You guys are too much............but I like it! :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01:

Just inked them up - the Onoto came with a strange bit of kit in it, so I ditched that and filled it with Omas Purple via an eyedropper! Lovely juicy B nib.......couldn't see what size the nib was  !

The Snake is filled, after rinsing, with Lamy blue and is writing superbly. :cloud9: This is seriously turning into love of a different kind, I can tell you!

Please excuse me for the rest of the day as I have some writing and testing to do!!! :meow: :clap1: :puddle:

Hi Esterbex!

Shouldn't you be in bed?

Seems the pens are all quite happily enjoying all the attention, and the Teddy Bear seems very happy as well, make sure he doesn't dribble honey on the pens!

See Y'awll!!!

Thank you everyone for all the drools and accolades!!! Henry should be taking the bow, not the pens or little Bearly! :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01:

Troglokev - I can't make it this year...............I have a brother and his wife visiting and we will all be down in the very south western bit of civilised (?!) Tassie on the 13th! Next year I hope!!!

Thank you everyone, and a special thank you to Henry, who phoned just to see if I was happy with the new additions...............as If I hadn't gone on and on and on here and in emails!!! I think he believes me now, I am truly one big HAPPY BUNNY!!!! :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01:

Talk about writing..........four Simpole pens in action - you could go mad just deciding which was the favourite of the moment.........and today by a whisker (do Bunnies have whiskers?) it is Sally!!! :cloud9:

Chris, do you have the Snake filled as an eyedropper? Do you do anything special to them to get them ready to be eyedropper-ified?

Hi GP and Reprieve!

I have Lamy blue ink in the Snake, which is a button filler, so must remain so, but the Onoto came with a converter, so is now an ED with a fill of Omas purple.

With Henry's c/c filler pens I just make sure the bottom of the barrel is nice and tight - and that the section is also tightly screwed into the barrel. If you are going to try for the first time, use water and test it by filling and leaving the pen to lie on paper towel.............then you will see if it leaks. If it does a tiny bit, then a smear.....the merest smear.........or pure silicone will make a good seal.

I've been converting c/c pens into EDs for years, so am a dab hand at it now. Just be careful and it should be fine.

Reprieve, is Kevin a c/c filler? And what about Jasmin???

All my Simpole pens apart from Sally Snake and the Parker Acanthus Leaf are now EDs. I love the way they write with a lot more ink in them.........I find carts or converters so stingy.

Both new pens have been sharing writing time with the Spirit and the CS "Simpole" - and the nibs go from IF through IM to IB............ fun!!!! :cloud9: :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01:
