Ecstatic. Got the nib I love, the design I dreamed of, and the perfect weight and balance to use it and use it. Doesn't get much better than that. :notworthy1:

Hmmm! A battle of conscience going on in this house now....... do I sell off some pens that never get used to buy new ones? I will cogitate that over the coming days............and then plead poverty and a poor memory :ltcapd:.

I'm loving using the Spirit Pen - and am amazed at how well it sits in my hand because of the size and heft of it - a true masterpiece - like all the other Simpole pens, but much bigger! :clap1:

For those people in the London area who may be able to pop along to St Pauls vicinity Henry will be at the Goldsmith;s Hall [Fosters Lane] exhibiting his pens.

Yesterday was the first 'full-day', and he sold two pens.

It's here! It's here! I spent the morning waiting patiently for the postman to deliver my new Simpole overlay (one of "Bryant's Pens"). As good as Neal's photos are, they really do not do this pen justice--it's even lovelier in person. For anyone else considering this pen, you will not regret it!

I hope to get some time tomorrow to photograph my small "collection" of Simpole overlays. Bryant's Pen joins two Chatsworths, and they make an impressive trio.

In case anyone here has tried to make contact with Henry, can I just point out that he starts his day quite early in the morning and doesn't return home until after ten in the evening while the Goldsmith's Hall Show is on [until Sunday].

He will answer your messages as soon as he is free to do so.

Patience!

Truffle Finder.

Well, today is the last day of the Goldsmith's Hall Exhibition, and no doubt Henry will be looking forward to a well earned rest after the seven day event.

Apart from selling a considerable number of his pens, it has been a very good public relations operation, not only for Henry, but plenty of application forms have been given out to 'pen enthusiasts' for membership to the Writing Equipment Society. :eureka:

News update tomorrow!!!
