This may only be a 'Thread' of good news, but I was in Henry's workshop earlier today, and he was on the phone to Lionel [in Hatton Garden] to get an update on the castings, he said that if they are delivered today he will personally drop them in to Henry's on his way home. I hope that stops the pacing around! What was it I seem to remember reading about patience earlier on in this thread?

I;m sure the wait will have been worth it when all is done!!!

Yay! Patience is a virtue. However I seem to have trouble acquiring it. :gaah:

I saw a movie once, where the line was, "I see you shiver with antici...

...pation."

Can't remember which movie it was.

I just couldn't see anyone "ccccccccccccc-ing" like a snake!!! I took some artistic licence......... :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01:

So.........."how d'ya do??? - I'm pleased to meet you!...........now place your hands on your hips..........................." :gaah:

edited to add that I don't want to hijack the topic - which would be soooo easy - I haven't seen Rocky for such a long time.........anyone here seen it in London where it has been running for years - and where newspapers and cigarette lighters are still in use - wait, that was in the 80s!!! What happened to time?????? :ltcapd:

Don't worry, Ghost Plane, Patience isn't one of the Virtues!! so continue with current course, with an impatient jump to the right,:bunny01::bunny01:

The seven cardinal virtues are: Faith, Hope, Charity, Justice, Prudence, Fortitude, and the one I always forget, Temperance [asks self: exactly how many pens and bottles of ink do you own?].

Henry had a fairly busy day yesterday at Potobello Road, both buying and selling pens. Amongst his customers were a couple of FPNetwork users. Whether they had come to see him because they had heard about him through this media, or perhaps they already knew he was there remains to be seen, but I gather that he was pleased to have met them. It's all 'oil in the engine' as they say!

"And a good time was had by all!"

Has anyone heard anything from George recently?

Just a 'snippet' of news from the HS workshop, he has been working on a jewellery project,[ear rings, and a pendant actually] As soon as they are ready for photography, they will be posted on here in due coarse! [i hope I have got the correct spelling there!] The design is from one done by Rene Lalique in the early 1900's. It will be interesting to hear what your comments are about them when they appear on this thread.
