I hear teeth grinding all over the world!!! Even my lovely Miss Mollie, asleep near my desk, is grinding hers in her sleep! Good luck with the fine tuning..............this is where pure genius meets perfection! :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01:

Closer indeed!

Hi,

For those of you who may be interested, there is a thread in this forum which is concerned with a 'Spirit Of Life' pen which Henry is making at the moment, it is nearing the final stages. I just thought that you might like to know!

Posters have expressed interest in the Spirit of Life pen on this thread in the past. I'm about to start taking a count in the Spirit of Life thread to see who wants to order one. We'll post more pictures there as Henry gets the prototype done and actual pictures of the process go up.

We need to stick to just one thread for an accurate count and to not confuse matters with people ordering Henry's other pens.

For purposes of clarity, I make nothing from this pen [i'm buying it like yourselves]. The only benefit comes from the number of orders, as the price drops once we order 6 or more pens.

More details when I begin the count in the Spirit of Life thread.

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but I have to report that the Spirit of Life pen has been curled and final touches done. The not so good news is that having done this work, Henry didn't realise that by doing the 'curling', he has now missed the opportunity of photographing the design 'in the flat', this means that any images of the pen will be slightly delayed. Dispair not!!! He will get some images done as soon as possible, and that will be sufficient to show what the overall appearance will be.

The good news is that enough people have ordered the pens making it viable to 'cast' from the 'Master'. This means that Ghost Plane's estimate of the cost is correct.

For what it's worth, I have seen it in it's present state, and it is impressive!

See Y'all!!!

Well, I have finally decided to sell my Myrtle. It was a hard decision to make, as I love the pen. But it isn't being used--it's a bit too small for my hand--and I hate to see it collecting dust. I hope it will find a new home where it can do what it was meant to do--write. Here is a link to my sales post.

So you'll want to buy one of the Spirit of Life pens when they come out. We're basing them on a button fill Churchill because of the size issue. Already put in for an IB on mine.

I'm dying to hear where we've gotten to in the process. Pretty sure we're in the 2 week period of casting. :hmm1:
