I'm pleased to say that I had a great Pen Show!

It wasn't as well attended as last year, [although I might be wrong on that point, but there did appear to be less people walking around] but I was kept quite busy throughout the day, and a William Morris pen in silver has been ordered, so needless to say, for me anyway, it was a good fair. :D

Neal turned up, and I did manage to get him to take some photographs for me, as well as some that I took, earlier on.

I will be sending him the memory chip 'thingy' some time this week, so hopefully you will see some pictures on here quite soon. :)

I hope that Estebex sorts out the answer to that puzzle soon!!! SSSS_EASSY REALLY!!! :lticaptd: :yikes:

Exactly four years later, the answer is YES.

And the question was?

Has anyone heard of Henry Simpole? :D

Here's a few pictures featuring Henry and his jewels at yesterday's London Pen Show. It was great to meet George WP, the person who started this whole thread, he is with Henry in the second picture.

Good to meet you at last Neal.

Really nice photographs, but I do need to lay off some of my indulgences to drop some of the waistline I have acquired. :yikes:

I was only at the show until 12 o'clock, but had a great time catching up with people that I don't see that often. Made some purchases and spent more money than I intended - so I guess that it must have been good.

What's the long white silver overlay 3rd from right on the tray in the top photos? The one that looks as long as my Spirit?

And my Airbook lets me have smilies!!!! :yikes:

The pen that you're asking about is the Dragon Pen, overlaid on a base-pen made of 'Ivorine', which as the name suggests, is a creamy 'Ivory' colour, with very subtle lines running through it!

Before I made this model, I found a book, all about dragons! [it's a bit like when I decided that I was going to build a four-poster bed for myself, I got a book about them, only to discover that most four-poster beds have only two 'posts', and a large head-board!] But that aside! Back to the dragons!

Chinese dragons are symbols of good fortune, and they fly around giving out good luck to all, and if they are lucky enough to be Imperial Dragons they have five clawed fingers, as opposed to only four for the regular ones! And, [something that I didn't know before I read the book], was that the Imperial Dragons chase a 'flaming pearl' and so I settled for an Imperial Dragon on the barrel of the pen, and the flaming pearl marries up with the dragon's mouth when the cap is screwed onto the pen!

How about that bunch of apples?!!! :P :) :D :excl:

Actually, GP, if my recollection is accurate, I think the Spirit is larger still than Kevin the Dragon....The Truffle can do a comparison to make sure since he's holding a certain Spirit hostage....

Are there closeups of the imperious lizard? I wonder what the local lizards would think of him?
