Well, if Henry and Chris meet up on Thursday... expect fireworks, candles and cake, lots of celebration.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you both!

Over here, I'll be doing lots of celebrating as well. Something else has a birthday.

Indeed! I had a "duh" moment when I realised that the Brits don't celebrate it as well....seeing as how they were the "birth mother" and all...double "duh"!

Chris! I didn't realise that you had taken a photograph of my 'mits', in the finger bowl!!!

Anyway, only one more day to go till it's 4th July! Both our birthdays in one go!

Lots of hugs so far, both at the Clouds House re-union, and at the Bedford Hotel.

The director of Clouds House gave me a good mention in his speech, and by the end of the proceedings, both the two CH pens had been sold by the end of the day! I felt like the cat who got the cream by the time I left there!

See Y'awll!!! ;)

Ok Andy Pandy!!!

That's quite enough of the 'handy' photographs thank you!!!

Following on from a not too brilliant Chinese Meal in the fair town of Tavistock, we walked back to the hotel, and Chris and I just had to get down and 'dirty' with some quite innocent 'Pen Shoufftying!' So we retired to one of the resident's lounges, and then the 'hands' photographs were taken, with my head chopped off to boot! :yikes: :o :excl:

I think that Chris is 'penned out' by now though!

Tomorrow's a big day too, I gather, particularly on the other side of the pond.

Good night!

There is no such thing as "penned out"

If the UK shipped fountain pens instead of tea, I doubt they'd have been dumped in the harbor and history might have been very different :yikes:

Shucks!!!!!

I wanted to be arty......not many people are recognizable when only their hands are shown.......and I was

trying to teach the master how easy it was to use an iPod for photos and posting here......so 'off with his head' as the saying goes!!!! :bunny01:

Another pen has been adopted by me.....can you eagle-eyed people Recognise it in my hand? :yikes:

Dinner tonight here in the hotel, and I've lost count now of how many times we three have met over dining tables this week!!!!

Sadly, tomorrow Henry heads back to London and we drive to Hertfordshire via the small roads........slowly and trusting the SatNav to guide us through more beautiful places.

Happy Birthday Henry.......and Happy Birthday America and Satchmo!!!!

And where's Ray while all this penning is going on??

Google maps says there is a golf course about a mile north of the hotel... question answered?

Happy Birthday Chris and Henry!

I go away!.....................

I come back!!!

I left at about 6.00am this morning, and arrived back home just before noon, and I have done the shopping for the weekend, [so we won't starve!] and I have gone through all the telephone messages that need following up, thankfully there wasn't a lot on the computer to deal with, but then, I am now fairly acceptably conversant with using my lap-top when I'm down in Cornwall!

Chis, and her husband and I had a superb dinner last night, in the Hotel's excellent dining room, and as we had already concluded our pen affairs on the previous visits, I left Tavistock by about 11.00pm, and I was in bed half an hour later!

All in all, I would say that it was an excellent week.

Truffle Finder. :) :excl:
