I've gone over to securely capped thermal cups. "Sippy cups" for adults. :embarrassed_smile: Keeps me from doing too much damage to manuscripts :headsmack:

Congratulations to the team who worked on the computer set-up at FP Network, to get it back on line!

Judging by the length of time that it took to do it, one can only assume that it must have been a pretty complicated job. [Not exactly a case of switching it off, waiting for five minutes, and then switching it back on again!!!]

I was a little surprised to see that this thread is now 99 pages long however! Presumably the pages are shorter than before!

Anyway, It's great that FPN is back again!

If you look in the shaded area above the text box during your post/reply you'll see a smiley face emoticon...click it and they will be at your disposal at the bottom of the text box. Click "Show All" just below them and all the familiar faces show up....Now go play with it . :rolleyes:

No it doesn't!

The show-all sign being clicked doesn't work either!

Maybe there's a 'glitch' in the system somewhere!

Hi Henry

When you click in the reply box you should see all of the text options above the area that you type in next to my media there is a smiley face click on that and the emotocon option box should appear along the bottom.

At the right hand end of that tray is an arrow to show all of the options.

You are welcome to ring me if you need someone to talk you through it.

I've tried that............ and it doesn't do anything!

Here, I'll try it again!

The box has appeared, but when I click on 'Show all' nothing happens!

I've clicked inside the box, and the show all sign, still nothing!

I give up, it looks as though I will have to go through my life without the benefit of the 'Emocatrons'!

Sad, but there it is, I can live with it!

'Emotrons'.... 'Emocatrons'....You're killing my ribs over here! :lol:.

It may be that the server connection in your area is still slow for whatever reason. Try it again in a few hours.

Mine was having difficulty loading pages and posts before, but seems to have arighted itself.

Be patient....As dear Michael has said....Don't call it quits just yet. :blush:

Lol!! Actually on an iPad I don't get any options either!!

:wacko2: iPads are a totally different issue altogether....The Board is still undergoing tweaks and gradual re-instititution of certain features, some of which may or may not be compatible with all operating systems since the software updates....What an adventure! Can't wait to see the final resolution! :bunny01:

I hate to sound 'picky' here, but where is the Edit facility?

When I tried to get on here, I got a whole list of the people's messages which have been posted regarding this 'Emotrons' thing!!! In amongst the replies, my messages appeared, along with the Emotrons in the box where they should have been when I was writing my messages! That's when I went looking for the 'Edit' facility!!!

The box is there beneath this box that I'm writing in, but nothing happens when I click on it!

Perhaps I'm not using the right finger to press my mouse with!!!

During all the process problems the emoticons disappeared for a while, but they are back! When you click on Reply look for the smiley in the top middle and click on it. A row of emoticons show up at the bottom now. :wacko:

Hello, Hello, Hello!!!

We are back!

And so are all the Emoticons!!!

For those people living in the UK, I will be demonstrating my craft at a Craft fair, being held on Sunday !2th, at Hatfield House, actually, the Craft Fair is on over the whole weekend, but I am only doing the Sunday! It would be really nice to meet FPN people , if you fancy popping by. :)

During the FPN black-out, I've been quite busy, doing a 'Deco Lady' design, overlay, hopefully it will appear here very soon.

A big 'thank you' is due to the fine folks who toiled so hard to get the Network 'up' again. :P
