He goeth under the name of 'Oxonian', and Onoto hath engaged him to alter the nibs of their pens, which discerning clients require from time to time. :embarrassed_smile:

Esterbex, art thou suffering again from the pestilential Warm Fussies? I would gladly pass on the recipe for my latest embrocation to rid you of them, should you be troubled by the peskiness of the 'Fussies'! :doh:

The head man at the well-known apothecary's [known in these parts as Glaxo Smith Kline!] hast informed me that it would contravene the patent laws, if I was to tell of the ingredients of the aforementioned embrocation! Their legal team have threatened to jump up and down on my 'naughty bits' if I proceed with giving you the recipe, so we had better leave that for now I think! :blush:

Yet again, I have some more good news, another chap who saw me at the London Pen Show, has just ordered one of the Bruno/Simpole pens in red hard rubber, and has sent the cheque, so I will be dispatching it to him shortly. :rolleyes:

On my side of the Earth, Hump Day is the middle of the work week (usually Wednesday) and signifies making it to the top of the hill and hopefully a smooth glide down to the weekend....

I'm pleased to report that I had a good day in thre workshop yesterday working on the Onoto Caps, and the overlays to fit them, it has proved to be a tricky business, not helped by my idea of making the design so intricate, it has meant that the wording, namely, 'Onoto the Pen' needs to be individually worked on to ensure that it is distinct enough to read clearly. :embarrassed_smile: Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing before the 'master' has been cast, whether the cast will turn out accurately, one has to work on each one to correct it as part of the 'finishing' process! :hmm1:

Such is life! :blush:

So they say, it never rains but it pours!

This morning, an American [he's been living over here for about 40years apparently] phoned me and left a message to say that he wanted to order a silver Jasmin Pen! Strange how, I have just sold the last one, and then someone wants to buy one!

Anyway, I telephoned him back to explain the situation, so he then said straight away, that he would like a silver William Morris Pen. :embarrassed_smile:

He is going to make the payment , and I will dispatch the pen as soon as possible after that. :rolleyes:

Things are definitely looking up! :P

BTW, has anyone heard any news from Ghost Plane? The last I heard, she was battening down the hatches in preparation for storms around her side of the world. :embarrassed_smile:
