Who's the lucky one then? [Effin1]

I got bogged down with some shopping that needed doing, and the lawn needed another cut, before the pretty heavy rain that we've had over night! [incidently, it looks splendid this morning!]

Unfortunately, I didn't get to the repairs here that have been waiting very patiently for my attention, but there is always today!! I suppose!

We'll see!!!

PS. You keep keeping on!

I forgot to mention in my last post here, about making contact with the chap who is responsible for making the Plunger filling mechanisms for the Heritage Onoto pens. I have known about his existence for quite a long time, but last night was the first time that I have spoken to him.

He is a delightful chap to deal with, he is obviously a technical person, but he doesn't talk in 'jargon' that is almost impossible to understand, even I could follow quite easily what he was talking about.

For those repairers who might want to get in touch with him, [if like me you have draws full of vintage Onotos that require attention], I would be only too pleased to provide his details via the PM system!

I am refraining from commenting on men who have big pens in their drawers. ;)

Likewise....:roflmho:

Alright, alright you girls!!!

We are all aware of the euphemism and the implications of men who own large engined sports cars, [or indeed collect oversized vintage fountain pens, and possibly keep them safely stored in their drawers!] to apparently compensate for diminutive sized 'other parts' of their 'make-up'!!! But as I was telling a very good collector friend of mine while we looked over my Conway Stewart 'Dinkie' collection! Size really isn't everything!!!

See Y'awll!

Now calm down, girls!

Normally, that would just amount to going and playing with my pens.....I think I'll use a different outlet....:vbg:

Sheesh! A girl goes missing for just one day and look what happens!!! :roflmho:

All that innuendo/euphemism wasted as it is far too late for me to join in!!

BTW, I always thought ears and noses were the true indicators? Am I wrong again? :ltcapd:

Glad the lawn got mown again Henry.......... is your mower one with a huge engine???

See Ya! Running and ducking as I go............. :yikes:

Each day is the start of the rest of your life!

Chris, for your information, it's not ears or noses that indicate the opportunity for innuendo, or euphemism, it's feet!

Q. What do they say about men with big feet?

A. Big shoes!!!

Sorry about that, but I couldn't resist it!

My ex was definitely false advertising  :gaah:

Back vaguely on topic, I continue to be torn between Conway Stewart IB and 2B nibs. The first gives such beautiful lines, but the second is so fast and not at all blobby like other brands. :hmm1:

So you have a 'Dinkie' whilst I have a 'Grand Exhibiton' and on that I will end.....
