Well, the ST Dupont pen arrived last week, delivered on time, eight days from Madrid to Australia, using UPS.

There was a moment's panic when it was having an 'exception' experience in the Madrid airport. But all plain sailing from there, or should that be plain flying?

 

It's a beautiful bright yellow pen in a stunning white & yellow perspex box. A limited edition Andy Warhol, with the 15 minutes of fame quotation inscribed on the cap.

And, yes, what a wonderful 'click' sound.

 

Based on this experience, it would seem that Iguana Sells is a good source of well-priced ST Dupont pens.

 

Notice how the cap seems to seat and glide that last little bit before the click?

I wonder if it was a French person who wrote the e-mail; "dans les meilleurs délais" (literally "in the best delays") means "as soon as possible".

 

Hmmmmnnn. I have just bought my first ST Dupont [a Marilyn Monroe] from Iguana sells in Madrid. This was in their email response:

 

We will post it to your address in the best delays.

Should I worry? What if they only use average delays? And why don't they sell iguanas?
