Ink Disappearing

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I have a rather old pen form "Kobold", filled with Pelikan Blue.

I haven't used it for 3 months and now the ink is gone.

Suprisingly, there is no ink, where the pen was during these months.

Can you tell me what happened?

Does ink evaporate so fast?

Unfortunately, it may be dried up inside the pen. The water content may have evaporated leaving the solids to clog the nib, feed and reservoir.

As jar says, it will evaporate over time.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of nothing at all...

Actually, the Kobold used it all to rewrite the "program" on the paper baked inside its head ... :-)

 That's golems, not kobolds. Kobolds & nyckels are hill- or mine-trolls ; golems are Rabbinical androids. It's a vital distinction.

I thought Chthulu was making a COBOL pun. Either way- amusing.
