Adding to my Crimson Glow theme, I am adding a couple of photos requested by ethernautrix - my M1000 and the Classic Pens prototype of 66L - and I'm not available to tell the story of the MB - but if anyone wants to PM me I can give them the details.

Hi Skyppere!

No, this is a real prototype made of Crimson Glow acrylic - Paul made the three of these - and another that I have since sold. It could be the model for The Garnet Fire though.

Hi Chris,

I think yours is the prototype of the larger CP. I can't remember how the numbers go... But CP Legend, Garnet Fire is a prototype in the 766 size (only 10 made in that color).

Hi Rena!

My Crimson Glow CP Prototype is, according to Andy Lambrou, one of the two made as precursors of the 776L - the other was the Lapis Fire. It has an italic B nib!

It goes very well with my Teal Blue Prototype - but that pen isn't red, so isn't gracing this discussion!!!

My 766 says hello to its bigger cousin, your 776L. :) Stunning red pen, that!

Not as flashy as some of the others, everyday workhorses.

God is my Strength.

Those are great looking red pens Coyote, real down to earth workhorses! I bet they are all as dependable as Old Faithful.

Oo, what are the two on the left, Rogerb? On the end there. *Oogling*

A couple of nice Delta LEs, Lisa, in Italian Racing Red.... the little one, with the 'reversed' clip, celebrates the 80th anniversary of Monza motor-race track, and the other, a piston-filler, recalls the Alfa Romeo 1750 which won the Mille Miglia race in 1929 and 1930.

Both have nibs marked Medium, but are on the Fine side.

This is a relatively new acquisition that hasn't been restored, but I was taking some photos today of some of my other pens and decided to get some shots of this one too. :)

Thank you, Roger. I am looking at them sideways (that is, from the corners of my eyes) to resist their allure. Very, very appealing, those.

Well, if you cannot resist, Lisa...just let me know...they could be yours :)
