I am enjoying those shots, Chris. Tell me about the Pelikan between the Duofold and the Sheaffer. That is a beautiful red binde!

Hi Doug!

 

That Pelikan was a surprise birthday gift arranged by Dennis B and Chris Burton when Chris first started doing customised bindes. The pen came with three bindes so that I could change them to suite my whims! The pen is a 140 of course - and after thinking I had lost the other two bindes in our last house move - I found them just the other day - so can have blue or yellow when I want!

El cheapo Pilot Ecrino. Very nice fine point--a little scratchiness--just right, the very essence of fountain pen-ness, sitting in an inkstone I recently acquired for Chinese calligraphy:
