May I See Your Blue Pens?

Beautiful photos of an original and beautiful pen. I'm very fond of the clip. Did you take these with your new Leica, IANAN?

Thanks for the comment and sorry for the delay Petra, I've been occupied with other matters recently. The pic was taken with a Canon, the Leica is still something I'm getting used to.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of nothing at all...

My new Delta Profili in Silver and blue. It has a thread of its own, but I'll post a photo of it here - I have plenty to find use for...

It is a lovely pen!

Here are my blue pens, in order of acquisition from first to the last one received.

Levenger - Plumpster was my first, deep gradient blues with caramel/copper swirls...

Semi-Blue, I gave this $ Blue-Demo a new home, to an Elder Missionary with my church...

Pelikan M800 Blue-Striated barrel, during a refurbishing clean & lube, disassembled in this shot...

A better shot of those beautiful blue stripes on the barrel, with the pen reassembled...

My favorite blue is more of a blue-to-blueish-green or "Teal" pearl celluloid Rotring 1928 LE, looks more teal w/ indoor lighting, like this blue-pearl in the sunlight...

Seems that I too have a thing for blue fountain pens, as I have more blues than anything else.

New blue (Pilot VP in blue carbonesque - I'm already so fond of it!) and old (Delta Profili, which I've had a week longer...)

Both very beautiful pens dandelion.

I'm very fond of Pilot VPs, after getting my first "Old Style" VP in "Mustard"-yellow.

If could afford more pens, I like to get another VP in the Blue Carbonesque, just like the one you have!

The blues pens that I had during some stage of my collection (I've since sold a lot of these, but added some new ones). I should take new photos of the collection now.

Doug, if it's the bright blue one you're talking about, that's a Levenger TrueWriter.

Thanks. It is a lovely shade of blue. Sort of reminds me of the Aurora Mare.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
