Not the best photo, who knew that dark blue shiny things are tricky to photograph...

Whilst I mostly collect 'black' pens for my modest collection, I have somehow managed to acquire five blue pens:

Soennecken 444 Extra, 444 Superior, 44 pencil, Soennecken 504 blue candy stripe and a Visconti Novelli Augusta SE

I am fascinated with the color blue and the color indigo. May I see your blue to purple pens? I would like to find a finish I really like so I can look at purchasing a pen like it.

my lovely blue pen ,it's from DUKE.

I'm waiting for an email off a mate who took some pics of my pens yesterday. Meanwhile, here's my Parker Vector Gent U.K Mania pen.

Really nice looking pen BigShed. Flat top, slightly tapered section, lovely blue/black colour combination works well, gold cap and body rings are proportionate, as is the handsome clip. A very nice looking pen indeed.

Thanks for sharing.

Not very original, I'm afraid, but a wonderful writer and it so happens my first vintage pen.

With a blue pen like that BMG, you surely don't need any more ;) . It really does look in super condition. A classic and a wonderful writer - an excellent pen to have in one's collection :puddle:Many thanks for sharing.

The definition of "need" is relative and subject to expansion, as I'm sure you know -- aHEM! -- but I agree that the Vacumatic is indeed a very nice pen to have and use.

Good to see you on the forum today, Pavoni!

Mabie Todd Rialto. The finish is much more beautiful in person than in these pictures.
