very nice collections of demonstrators

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Wow, there are some gorgeous pens in here. I sure love me some demonstrators.

Visvamitra, what's the orange/vermillion ink in that TWSBI? It's striking, to say the least!

As for my own photos:

This was my first time sticking black ink in a demonstrator--I have a bunch of rich, gem-like ink samples that I love to use, but my default black-ink pen, my Pilot Metro, lost its cap and is headed to Pilot HQ for replacement, so I loaded up my Lamy here with Parker Quink. I was surprised by how good it looked, even without those rich colors!

Wow. As someone who never got over the "clear" thing from the 80s, I have coveted demonstrators since I first saw one... Back then it was a Pelikan (too rich for my college student blood), but these days I only see them with gold fittings and I prefer silver, so I've sort of pushed that one out of my mind. The TWSBIs look very nice, though, without breaking the bank! Loving this thread!

I'm glad visvamitra revived this thread. I do like demonstrators.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

I have two demonstrators - the Custom 3776 and the Franklin-Christoph 02. After I bought the 02 I became hooked on demonstrators and bought the 3776 shortly after.

Just stumbled across this interesting thread – so many beautiful pens! Below are some photos of an unusual demonstrator – a Montblanc 139 – presented here some time ago by Maxpens; I hope he won't mind my reposting them:

I'm sorry to say that the pen doesn't belong to me. :crybaby:
