Please post a picture of your favourite BLACK fountain pen

Most of my fountain pens are black; it's hard to choose a favourite!

Does silver overlay count as black?

I have several black pens that I like, but my favorite would probably be a Stipula Barraca LE.

OOPS! Nevermind, I thought I knew how to attach photos here; I was wrong. Sorry.embarrassed_smile.gif

I say buy at least the body from Binder if you didn't want to go for the whole pen.

My Blue Carbonesque is and has been in my daily rotation for 10+ years. The Black

Carbonesque is beautiful and will always sit in the box, maybe used once in a while but

it doesnt leave the house!

I have a feeling the Black Carbonesque is not going to be around forever.

How come? Anything in particular that makes you suspect that they'll end the production?

No nothing in particular just that it has been available for so long that I think someday it will be gone.

My point.....I thought the Red Talentum w/chrome trim (best lookin' ever) would be around forever and I

could buy a new one at anytime 8 years ago...you can't buy a new one anymore and I kick myself everyday

for not buying one when I had the chance.

Seeing your list of pens makes me think that we might - just might - have rather similar preferences when it comes to pens. I've actually been thinking about the carbonesque in black since I really love the blue - both eye pleasing and a great writer!

My NeroUno is my favorite black pen but since I don't have a picture of mine I'll post a pic of my other black pen, a Lamy 2000.

Dern it, I want to post *so* badly... But so many of my favorite pens are black! Instead of posting a photo with 8 of my favorite pens, I'll have to make a new thread about the quintessential "Big Black Pen." :)

WTB: Lamy 27 w/ OB/OBB nibs; Pelikan 100 B nib

My favorite black pen is my Waterman #7 with a "Pink" nib, but this one isn't too bad either.

Please stop quoting if your reply is consecutive to the one you're answering to...If you can, when you quote, delete the picture from the quoted reply.

Page 8 contains about 4 sentences and one picture, but because everyone quoted and post quoted it fills up one whole screen.
