My favorite black pen is this Sheaffer PFM-III that I bought from Jon Rosenbaum at the Portland Pen Show in 2007:

Second favorite is this S. T. Dupont D.Link that I bought here on FPN from girlieg33k:

Both are wonderful writers. The PFM has a smooth extra-fine nib that can be reversed to a very usable needlepoint. The Dupont has a fine medium-wet nib that leaves a crisp dark line. My thanks again to both sellers!
